Hi, I’m Grace! I grew up in Tulsa, OK, but I’ve lived all over the country. Each place has taught me something special about connecting with others, and it’s given me a deep empathy for people from all walks of life. Out of everywhere I’ve lived, North Carolina has truly captured my heart. The beautiful weather, friendly people, and natural surroundings make it feel like a dream, and I hope to give back to this community through my work.
Outside of work, I’m happiest riding and training horses—it’s a privilege to communicate with an animal that doesn’t speak our language yet trusts us so fully. I also love drawing, video games, hiking, and reading. Family is important to me; my dad, who’s been painting cars for over 40 years, and my brothers are back in OK and AK, while my sister is in Maine. My fur (and feathered!) family includes Aspen, my beloved border collie/Australian shepherd mix; Tempo, my boxer mix; Leo, my rabbit; and Orion, my curious cat.
Professionally, I’ve done a bit of everything. I spent years as a bartender and waitress, and while I loved training show-jumping horses, I found myself in a new chapter in a new town. Diving into sales at Verizon taught me a lot about technology and helping clients feel comfortable with their purchases. I’m competitive by nature and enjoy working with coworkers who support each other—because I believe a team thrives when we lift each other up!
